An O.I.C. Specialty Laboratory
Occlusion - Implant - Cosmetic

At Klausz Dental Laboratories, we are committed to providing our clients with a full range of services, restorations, and appliances to meet all aspects of clinical dentistry. To meet your expectations we have grown into an Occlusal-Implant-Cosmetic (O.I.C.) Laboratory.

We view the role of the dental lab as a partner to our clients, in both determining their goals and objectives and going out of our way in helping to achieve them. When we say, "Working Harder And Smarter For Your Practice!", we mean that we're finding solutions for each of our client's specific needs and challenges, whatever they may be. We consider ourselves to be an extension of your dental practice. That is the changing role of the dentist/laboratory relationship, and we believe it has led to the continued success of our clients and our laboratory.

We hope our e-Newsletters prove to be informative, educational, and beneficial. Each issue will cover different topics on materials, techniques, services and educational opportunities. Please do not hesitate to contact us with specific questions. We look forward to working with you.

Digital Dentistry comes to Klausz Dental Laboratories

As technology is constantly changing, our laboratory is evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients. This is how we have been able to build and maintain relationships with our clients for over forty-four years. We are proud to announce that we have become a Cadent iTero Partner Laboratory as well as a Lava Chairside Oral Scanner (C.O.S.) Affiliate Laboratory.

We are accepting scans NOW!
This enables us to now accept your digital scans from clients who choose the Cadent iTero Digital Impression System or the Lava C.O.S . These systems have been designed to replace the uncomfortable and sometimes imprecise tray and putty method of traditional impressions.

Both systems are powered by proprietary computer aided design technology that enables the dentists to take a 3-D digital scan of a patient’s mouth, make any necessary adjustments, and then transmit the file electronically to the lab where the final restoration can be crafted with precision and accuracy.
If you’re looking to invest in the future of digital dentistry, be sure to consult with your lab for insights and guidance.

More ways to communicate through technology
advanced communications

As internet technology continues to move forward, new opportunities have been created that can enhance the way the dental office–dental laboratory can communicate. We have always been open to communicate using the speed and convenience of e-mail. With new “Cloud Technologies”, we can now share more information and larger file sizes using a free program called Dropbox. With Dropbox, you can place pictures and documents into your Dropbox shared folder on your computer and someone else can access these files on their computer. It’s fast, easy, and convenient.

Call the lab to set up your free Dropbox folder.

How would you like to discuss lab cases face to face even when you and the lab are many kilometres apart? Now you can with the power of Skype. We are Skype ready, are you? Call the lab to discuss how to get connected.

Temporization - The first steps to Patient Satisfaction

Most patients today have genuine concerns about aesthetics and function prior to proceeding with many forms of cosmetic dentistry. There are many options to help guide you and your patients to a desirable result, such as Cosmetic Digital Imaging or Diagnostic Wax-Ups (both services are available through our laboratory). Before you spend valuable time and money on final restorations, consider the many benefits to temporary restorations. These types of restorations allow an inexpensive view to the future where tooth shape, size and embrasure space can be determined; as well, possible phonetic consideration can be diagnosed. Utilizing today’s advanced light curing materials gives us the benefits of greater translucency and shade matching and for those occasions when greater emphasis is placed on colour, the advance of light cured stains can be used. Judge for yourself the many benefits of the latest in laboratory produced temporary restorations.
