"We Build Advanced Occlusal Concepts
Into Everything We Do!"
We've grown into an O.I.C. Laboratory!
At Klausz Dental Laboratories, we are committed to providing our clients with a full range of services, restorations, and appliances to meet all aspects of clinical dentistry. To meet your expectations we have grown into an Occlusal-Implant-Cosmetic (O.I.C.) Laboratory.

With over 44 years of experience in the dental technology field, we build advanced occlusal concepts into every restoration and appliance we custom fabricate. With a greater understanding of how teeth, muscles and joints work together, we can create restorations that not only look lifelike and aesthetic, but can last longer and function better. Allow us to apply the knowledge we’ve accumulated into your next restoration or appliance.

We hope our e-Newsletters prove to be informative, educational, and beneficial. Each issue will cover different topics on materials, techniques, services and educational opportunities.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with specific questions. We look forward to working with you.

Regardless of the clinical situation, today’s patients demand an aesthetic restorative outcome that matches or even looks better than their natural teeth. Traditionally, this demand has been met by the use of all-ceramic or layered restorations. However, many patients present with signs of bruxism or exhibit worn dentition that does not allow for the use of traditional ceramic restorative options.

In the past, the solution for the most challenging of cases was full metal or metal occlusal restorations.

Today’s solution is Zirlux FC full contour zirconia.

  • Low Wear to Opposing Dentition
  • Higher Translucency than Traditional Zirconia
  • Pre-Shaded Material Eliminates White Spots After Clinical Adjustments
  • Conventional Cementation Indicated
  • Extremely Strong and Resistant to Fracture/Chipping
  • Conservative Preparations
  • 0.5mm minimum thickness
  • Feather edge preparations

Zirlux FC brings beautiful aesthetics to the strength of full contour zirconia

Bringing you the latest in material science is just another way we’re working harder

Experienced Based Dentistry

(It's All about the Relationship)

By Peter Barry C.M.C., R.R.D.H.

Dentistry - Re-packed to a Customer-Friendly, Human Centered Experience
Dentistry is undergoing a major transformation in the way we do business and serve our patients. The entire dental community is re-packaging its products and services into a more customer friendly human centered experience. Today we live in a service based economy. Business begins and ends with people. The average dental consumer expects quality and service delivered in an honest, caring and compassionate manner. We could even say that they want their dental healthcare experience to be enjoyable and emotionally enriching. Let’s ask ourselves; “do we sometimes oversell the physical details of the dentistry without adequately embracing the human attached to the teeth”? We must be aware to not depersonalize the office/patient interaction in order to avoid the patient feeling they have been processed.

Patients Want to Feel Respected and Cared For
People’s basic human nature is to want to feel genuinely respected and cared for, especially when it comes to placing their health and quality of life in the hands of professionals. The challenge for dentistry is that with all the technical learning and training dentists receive, some of the authentic human engagement can begin to fade away. After years of coaching dental teams and individual clinicians it is my experience that our communication can very often appear cold and disconnected because it is delivered in a very technical manner devoid of emotion and humanity. As a profession if we are to succeed in altering some of the old school negative paradigms society has held about dentistry, we must begin to look beyond the teeth and instruments we are holding in our hands.

Fitting Dentistry into the Patient's Life
Patients are filtering all decisions they make through their feelings and personal life circumstances. Our job is to fit the dentistry into the patient’s life and not just into their mouths (good clinical dentistry vs. good patient care…there is a difference). The time we take to build strong personal relationships with our patients will have a huge impact on our overall ability to inspire patients to trust us and to desire what we can do for them. When people make a decision to accept your dental care they are making a decision to accept you. Remember we are not in the “dentistry profession” serving people; we are in the “people business” providing dentistry. Your dentistry gets you into a game where relationships win. Embrace the human condition! Grow your practice one relationship at a time!
