"We Build Advanced Occlusal Concepts
Into Everything We Do!"

We've Grown into an O.I.C.S. Laboratory

At Klausz Dental Laboratories, we are committed to providing our clients with a full range of services, restorations, and appliances to meet all aspects of clinical dentistry. To meet your expectations we have grown into an Occlusal-Implant-Cosmetic-Sleep (O.I.C.S.) Laboratory.

With almost 50 years of experience in the dental technology field, we build advanced occlusal concepts into every restoration and appliance we custom fabricate. With a greater understanding of how teeth, muscles and joints work together, we can create restorations that not only look lifelike and aesthetic, but can last longer and function better. Allow us to apply the knowledge we’ve accumulated into your next restoration or appliance.

We hope our e-Newsletters prove to be informative, educational, and beneficial. Each issue will cover different topics on materials, techniques, services and educational opportunities.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with specific questions. We look forward to working with you.

The Maxillary Anterior Deprogrammer
Developed to prevent posterior tooth contact for heavy bruxers and clenchers

More than a Bite Splint
It’s more than a standard bite splint, as it protects the teeth by calming the temporalis muscles, and in many cases can reduce or eliminate muscle pain and inflammation associated with bruxing and clenching.
By capturing the hamular notches in the upper impression, we are able to mount the maxillary cast on an AccuLiner Articulator. This mounting will relate the upper model to the HIP Plane (Hamular Notches-Incisive Papilla). The HIP Plane correlates the upper arch to the horizontal plane at the base of the skull, allowing for straight transitional movement.

Chose the type of material that you feel would work best for your patients.

  • Pressure Molded Technology, PMT: A uniquely formulated polymer base material adapts to the teeth with greater accuracy than through vacuforming alone. The discluding element is fabricated from a tough clear composite material design for less wear and greater durability.
  • Heat Cured Thermoplastic: The same proven material we’ve been using for our thermoplastic night guards is once again used for the base of this appliance, with a hard acrylic anterior discluding element incorporated for additional strength. These appliances are crystal clear or can also be tinted in one of eight additional colours to match the individual preferences of your patients.

All materials are Durable, Impact Resistant and Comfortable
Whichever material you choose, you can be assured that the unique combination of a tough impact resistant anterior occlusal table surface with a more pliable tooth and tissue surface, offers your patients lasting durability and custom comfort.

We are proud to be able to offer our clients the latest advances when it comes to splint therapy.
Whatever your requirements, we have the splint for you!

Giving you more than you expect...

Klausz Dental Lab now offers...

e.max Press - Lithium Disilicate - Aesthetics AND Strength
Comprised of biocompatible lithium disilicate, IPS e.max Press provides the fit, form and function of a pressed ceramic with maximum aesthetic characteristics, and exceptional flexural strength at 400 MPa.

A Variety of Shades and Translucencies
IPS e.max Press ingots are available in varying degrees of translucency for maximum versatility. Ingots come in the High Translucency (HT) created for inlays, onlays and veneers, Low Translucency (LT) which is ideal for creating one-step fully anatomical restorations, Medium Opacity (MO) is intended for devitalized, slightly discolored preparations, and High Opacity (HO) is for preparations that are non-vital and severely discolored. The LT ingots are available in the 9 most popular A-D shades as well as 4 contemporary bleach shades.

Strong Enough for Conventional Cementation
Due to their high strength, the restorations can be conventionally cemented. Alternatively, they can be adhesively bonded. This provides maximum flexibility to address clinical needs.

Full Contour OR Build-up Technique
IPS e.max restorations are available in two forms. You can choose full contour that provides high strength and beautiful aesthetics as an alternative to zirconia and precious metal. For more demanding cases, we can fabricate restorations utilizing the cut-back and build-up technique. Final veneering with IPS e.max Ceram, a proprietary nano-fluorapatite layering ceramic, offers unparalleled aesthetics.

IPS e.max Press provides the ultimate in all ceramic restorations:

  • Outstanding aesthetics combined with high flexural strength
  • Exceptional wear profile on the antagonist tooth, even kinder than natural enamel
  • 5 year clinical data
  • Conventional or adhesive cementation options for clinical flexibility

We are confident that we can provide you with the high quality you have come to expect from our laboratory in this new and versatile all-ceramic restoration.
