"We Build Advanced Occlusal Concepts
Into Everything We Do!"

We've Grown into an O.I.C.S. Laboratory

At Klausz Dental Laboratories, we are committed to providing our clients with a full range of services, restorations, and appliances to meet all aspects of clinical dentistry. To meet your expectations we have grown into an Occlusal-Implant-Cosmetic-Sleep (O.I.C.S.) Laboratory.

With almost 50 years of experience in the dental technology field, we build advanced occlusal concepts into every restoration and appliance we custom fabricate. With a greater understanding of how teeth, muscles and joints work together, we can create restorations that not only look lifelike and aesthetic, but can last longer and function better. Allow us to apply the knowledge we’ve accumulated into your next restoration or appliance.

We hope our e-Newsletters prove to be informative, educational, and beneficial. Each issue will cover different topics on materials, techniques, services and educational opportunities.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with specific questions. We look forward to working with you.

A Bite Repositionign Appliance (BRA) is Worn for a Short Period and Helps to Reduce Possible Bite Changes
After wearing a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) over a period of time, there is an inevitable undesirable bite change with the potential of a posterior open bite developing, as the mandible slowly migrates forward. To mitigate this problem, it is advisable to wear a Bite Repositioning Appliance (BRA) immediately after removing the MAD. The patient should bite on this until he feels a normal, solid contact on the back teeth. The length of time needed for this varies from patient to patient. This could be done while showering or commuting.

The Fit is Similar to a Sports Guard
These Bite Repositioning Appliances are made from a thin thermoform material that fits over the lower teeth, similar to a sports mouth guard. The posterior occlusion of the maxillary opposing dentition is imprinted into the appliance and gently guides and holds the mandible in place as the muscles reposition the mandible into the normal occlusion.

8 Colours Available
Bite Repositioning Appliances from Klausz Dental Laboratories are available in a variety of colours and are designed to be as individual as your patients that wear them.

We are constantly striving for ways to improve on the quality of the restorations and services we offer our clients.

We are proud to partner with innovative companies and clinicians who are striving to advance their respected fields of dentistry. This is why we’ve endorsed the Reverse Margin™ design, which is part of the Cement Control System™ invented by Emil L.A. Svoboda PhD, DDS. Imagine implant prosthetics that are designed to help you optimize the implant-abutment connection and eliminate residual subgingival cement which can lead to implant complications and failures. Extrapolating from the research of TG Wilson (2009)*, preventing residual subgingival cement can reduce the complication rate by about 60%. *Thomas G Wilson Jr. The Positive Relationship Between Excess Cement and Peri-implant Disease: A Prospective Clinical Endoscopic Study. J. Periodont 2009;1388-1392

We have become one of the first dental laboratories in Ontario to be certified to provide “site specific” custom abutments with crowns and bridges that have the features of the Cement Control System™.

If you are interested in learning more about the Reverse Margin™ and the Cement Control System™ please visit www.reversemargin.com , or if you wish to try this design on your next case, please contact our lab.

2 e.max Veneers
Klausz Lab Consultation / Custom Shade

The patient presented with chipped and worn maxillary central incisors and was looking for a cosmetic enhancement to make his smile more ideal. After checking for parafunction and eliminating any premature interferences in protrusive and lateral excursions, the patient consented to the treatment plan of having his teeth prepared for porcelain veneers. The patient went to the laboratory for a Cosmetic Consultation where details of the shade, shape, and texture of his teeth were taken. Two E.Max lithium disilicate veneers were fabricated and bonded into place. The patient was thrilled with the results.

“From single crowns to large, complex cases, I trust Ron and his team at Klausz Dental Lab. They only use the best materials and advanced techniques and are able to create natural aesthetics which blend in beautifully with natural teeth. I am thrilled with the results we get.” - Dr. Mey Tanzil
