By utilising state of the art computer software, we are now able to provide you with a computer enhanced, full colour printout of what your patients can expect from today’s cosmetic dentistry.

We’ve been busy setting up our laboratory to enable your office to take advantage of this new technology almost effortlessly and with minimal cost.

1. A 35 mm camera and a developed picture sent to the lab for scannin.
2. A Picture can be sent to the lab via e-mail to klauszdl@istar.ca
3. A digital picture can be taken, down loaded to disk and the disk sent to the lab.
4. Make an appointment for the patient at our lab, and we will take the picture.

1. Photo session - Please take three pictures of each patient, and we will use the best picture for imaging.
2. Prepare the patient - Please frame the patient’s face from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin.
3. Visibility of the teeth - Have the patient give a great big smile. We are looking for about ¼ inch of space between the incisal edges of the upper and lower anterior teeth.
4. Exposure - Lighting should show as much of the teeth as possible, without washing them out or producing shadows. Use natural or indirect light, and ask the patient to stand in front of a clean, plain backdrop.
5. Focus on the teeth - Focus clearly on the teeth, and then take the picture.

We will need to know what type of cosmetic or restorative option you would like to have done and for which teeth.  Detailed instructions need to be sent so we can accurately create a smile that best reflects your goals and the patient’s desires.
